LMIH Technology (Behtar)

Founded in 2017 and mission was to organise Indian retail space by enabling neighbourhood stores to get standardized in terms of availability and pricing as this channel still consitutes more than 80% of grocery shopping in India.

Core Team

Part of founding team Behtar, Venkatesh (CEO/Founder), Shwetank, Rajat and me.
Few days before the launch of our launch of our first store. 

First Office

In the initial days, our first warehouse was also our office, when we were into B2B business.
So for the first 8 months of business this 4000 sqft warehouse was our office.

In-Store Concept

While pivoting our business model from B2B to B2C, we ran a pilot store in form of taking a part of the store and running it like a separate store. Response was overwhelming and this led to change in business model from B2B to B2C.

First Behtar Store

After working from scratch and doing all the background work for 2 months, we opened our first Behtar Store in late 2018.

Diwali Party

This was the first formal party of Behtar, it was a super fun evening and it helped in making connections within the company.

First Behtar Store in Delhi

By late 2019, we expanded our operation to Delhi-NCR region, and this was our first store.

Within 2 years we opened more than 100 stores in Bangalore region alone, this map represents the location of store across Bangalore.
